Butterfingers and Something With Numbers will be among the marquee acts for this years Freshly Plucked Festival.
Following the success of last years festival headlined by popular Aussie punk band Frenzal Rhomb, Orange's Rock Up committee has announced a new bill featuring some of the countries top touring acts as well as some local talent.
With Butterfingers headlining the event along with Psycroptic, Pod People, The Tenants, Guns for Glory, Alias and the Jams, Mojo Juju and the Snake Oil Merchants, Valanga Khoza and Radiophobia, organisers are hoping 2008 will live up to the success of 2007.
“Last year crowds more than tripled in size since the initial event in 2006 ... We hope to see the event grow even bigger this year,” Rock Up member Tom Roberts said.
As well as visiting acts, Central West bands, the Filthy Rich, Dead Modern, the Resistants and The Trend will perform with more acts to be announced in coming weeks.
