WHO will grow the best mo? This is the question 25 men from Canobolas Holden Orange won't be able to answer until the end of the month Movember, formally known as November.
All male employees from Canobolas Holden have taken on the Movember challenge from November 1 to grow a moustache for a month, to help raise awareness of men's health issues including prostate cancer and male depression.
Orange Canobolas Holden dealer principal, Grant Spencer says only two technicians were involved last year but everyone this year decided to get involved because they are passionate about men's health.
“One in six men die of depression. One of our staff members took his life last December with depression,” he said.
The aim of Movember is to change the attitudes of males who are reluctant to see a doctor and have regular health checks. Almost 3000 Australian men die from prostate cancer each year.
Spencer says anyone can get involved and is proud everyone at Canobolas Holden has got on board to support the charity.
"All the men have been enjoying themselves and have been looking forward to growing their mos for 12 months. We hope we can make an impact," he said.
“We will definitely get involved again next year, anything we can do to help.”
